Vegan Sweets
No contrary to popular belief, you don't have to give up all indulgences when you follow a vegan diet. Thanks to the Vegan Society sunflower trademark life is now much easier. When you see the sunflower trademark on a label you are saved from having to check through the ingredients list. The sunflower trademark guarantees not only no animal ingredients or derivatives but also no animal testing. In Devizes The Healthy Life and Holland and Barret have lots of vegan sugar laden sweets for when you feel the need. Check out the Plamil chocolate, the Booja Booja truffles, the vegan fudge. Plamil are a vegan company based in Folkestone in Kent producing soy milks and chox and mayo. The Chocolate Wendy House is much smaller and based in Birmingham and produces exquisite vegan chox including vegan creme eggs. Find contacts for both in the links section under Retail. Meanwhile if you haven't yet found Swedish Glace which is a vegan ice cream stocked in all supermarkets and health food shops you're missing out. I have yet to meet anyone that doesn't feel a bit freaked eating it because it tastes so close to the cruel dairy version.
